Samantha inserted the key into her apartment door, the one she shared with Ashley Marie Chase, who happened to be right behind her. The two had been out shopping on this balmy Thursday afternoon, getting ready for their trip to Missouri.
They knew the itinerary….they’d fly out first thing Friday morning in the Chase family jet, landing at Jefferson City’s airport. Then, they’d spend the day and most of the evening with Samantha’s family, including dinner, and then Ashley and Samantha would drive one of the family vehicles to their St. Louis hotel after the family dinner, with a member of the family bringing it back home after the show.
Samantha opened the door and the two giggling women walked in. Ashley kicked the door gently to close it, as the two girls virtually ran into the living room, dropping their bags in front of them on the couch. “I cannot wait to show my mom this dress tomorrow!” Samantha pulled a pretty floral printed summer dress from one of her bags.
Ashley grinned. “I think she’ll love it. Plus, I’m going to look forward to taking it off you later tomorrow night at that hotel!”
Samantha blushed. Despite their extremely active love life, she still could not shake that effect whenever her girlfriend talked like that. Call it the schoolgirl or country girl in her, but it was something that simply didn’t go away. “Ashley Marie!”
“What? I’m not lying!” Ashley leaned over and kissed Samantha on the lips quickly. “You know how much I love to see you naked!”
“I know, baby, I know. It’s just…” Samantha’s voice trailed off.
“Just what, Sammy?” Ashley looked at her girlfriend with a puzzled look.
Samantha couldn’t stop her cheeks from reddening up again. “Well...you know I still just kinda get embarrassed a little when you talk like that….”
Ashley laughed. “Honey, you should be used to it by now!”
“Well, I suppose in some ways I am, and in some ways I’m not.”
“If it makes you feel better, Sammy….you look good naked. You should be proud of all the hard work you’ve put in to make your your body the machine it is.”
Samantha smiled, still blushing. “Thanks hon.”
“I love you Sammy.”
“I love you too, Ashley.”
Ashley took Samantha’s hand, and pulled her in for a long, slow kiss. She stood up, and gently pulled Samantha to her feet, as she pulled her slowly but surely into their bedroom. Ashley continued to pull her until they reached the end of their king-size bed.

I owe you one, don't I Kate? I mean, after all, you are the one who made me pass out a couple of weeks ago.
But keep something in mind there, supposed submission specialist. I never once gave up. I never tapped out. You had to make me pass out to win that match.
Oh, you can talk about my failures all you want, Katey-kins, but here's the bottom line....I'm going to finish what I started a couple of weeks ago. You know as well as I do that you scraped by on the skin of your teeth. You know, that when we lock horns again in the middle of that ring, you've got one chance to win this match, and it's to beat the other person in it.
Because you sure as hell aren't beating me a second time. Oh. Hell. No.
Now, I'll give you your due, you're a hell of a wrestler, Kate. Won't take that away from you in the least. But for as much as you talk about others not backing up what they say, I can point to an entire career full of it for you.
Because we've walked the same aisles, Kate. We've haunted the same halls. And I know you as well as you know me.
But come TNT, Steele will be reduced to nothing more than a simpering, broken, bloody lump, mewling on the canvas.

Samantha had her back to the bed, her face buried in Ashley’s as the two girls kissed passionately. Ashley kissed her cheek and then moved to her neck, when suddenly Samantha drew in a breath through her nose.
She stopped her girlfriend. “Ashley….do you smell that?”
Ashley, of course, continued to try and kiss on Samantha’s neckline. “Smell what, Sammy?”
“Seriously, honey!” Samantha pulled Ashley’s head away from her neck. “Can’t you smell that?”
Ashley took a deep sniff of the air. “Sammy, baby, all I smell right now is that perfume I got you a few weeks ago down on Rodeo Drive.”
Samantha stepped away from Ashley, sniffing the air again. “But Ash, what I’m smelling isn’t your perfume. It’s...different. And it’s not something you’d normally wear either…” Samantha continued to look around the room, smelling as she went. She looked at their dresser, and went to it, pulling out the top left drawer and looking at it. She closed that one, and opened the top right when Ashley interjected.
“See! I knew you’d go right for that! So….who pitches and who catches?”
Samantha scowled at her lover. “Ashley, listen! I’m telling you, something’s not right here! I mean, everything seems to be in place, but someone’s been in here. I’d swear my life on it.”
“But Sammy, we locked the doors. The guy at the gate didn’t mention anything about any strangers being here today when we drove in.”
Samantha looked panicked. Looking at the glass door on their bedroom, she noticed the blinds open. “Did you leave these open again?”
“I did, mainly just to let some sunlight in for the day. You know how I hate it when it gets too cold in here.” Ashley turned, taking Samantha by the hand and pulling her toward her again. “Do you trust me?”
Samantha nodded. “Of course.”
Ashley slowly positioned her back where she was before Samantha had freaked out. “No one has been in here, I promise. It’s probably something from one of our guests or something just kind of lingering. But we’re safe here, OK?”
Samantha nodded again. “OK, Ash...OK.”
Ashley then looked at Samantha with a gleam in her eyes, her hands slowly pulling down the waistband of the gold Nike shorts she was wearing. “Now...let me calm you down, baby.”
Samantha’s hands found their way to Ashley’s shoulders as she felt her shorts and underwear slide down to her ankles as Ashley fell to her knees. “Now, Ashley, who ever said that that calmed….OH GOD….”
Samantha threw her head back, her eyes closed as her hands automatically found the back of Ashley’s head, pulling her in tighter.
But through the open sliding glass doors, she didn’t see….couldn’t see….the blonde in the white van in the distance, a pair of binoculars trained on the two of them as they made love.

Scarlett, are you fucking SERIOUS?
My girlfriend, the one I currently live with and love with all my heart, has not replaced me. She hasn't left me, hasn't dumped me, but much rather has stood by my side through everything. I mean damn, talk about out of touch much? You can't even keep anything straight!
But let me tell you this much, you can call me a skank or what the hell ever all you want, but rest assured that when that bell rings, and you're looking across the ring from me, you'll see nothing more than a cold-blooded, focused killer ready to tear your pretty littel head clean from your shoulders if need be.
I know this is your big debut and everything, but honestly? I don't see much there. Certainly nothing of substance. At least Kate is a good wrestler, with some accomplishment behind her. You? You're about as plain as they come. A scoop of vanilla in a neopolitan world.
Believe me when I tell you, Scarlett...
...I'm going to thoroughly enjoy kicking the shit out of you.
