When I told everyone I would become the first champion ever in VWS. There were plenty of people who doubted me. They said he doesn't have the experience, his luck is about to run out. All of those people were wrong.
When you look upon my shoulder you will see my custom made Velocity championship. It might be a bit ordinary but it's mine.
I told Avery Miles III that I would whatever it takes to win. There was no price I wouldn't pay to be VWS Velocity champion. I kept my word. You will realize that when I say something it comes true. Miles found out the hard way. The rest of the roster is going to find out soon enough.
Now that I'm Velocity champion, there is nobody who will take it from me.

Ah winning a championship! It validates that you are one of the best in the company. Landon Dalmon doesn't need that kind of validation, but just like anyone else he does like what comes with it.

Now there are a lot of people who will say that Dalmon is a joke, and that he doesn't belong in the wrestling ring. Some would say he is too green, which is absurd because he is obviously gold.
But now that he is Velocity champion?
They have no choice but to respect him. Real respect, not that bullshit fear respect people give you because they want your money. If they won't give him respect he will have to take it.
Now back in Las Vegas after a very successful trip to New York, The Dalmons need to plan what's next. Tuesday Night Tenacity is just around the corner.

This week I get to step into the ring with the man who is supposed to represent the best that the VWS has to offer. This man is the world champion. Of course I'm talking about Alex Jones.
There are people who say that because of my family name I live a life of privilege. This is true. Obviously in this day and age you take whatever you can get, anyway you can get it. That's why I am Velocity champion. I did what I needed to. But don't think I didn't work hard for it.

I mean the guy didn't have to do anything to earn his spot in VWS. He walked in the door as the top guy. That makes sense since his wife is the owner of the company. That is why I wasn't surprised that you were VWS World Champion after Uprising. When I found out the next afternoon, because I couldn't be bothered to care while celebrating, I said that's just how they planned it.

You want to know why? It's because everything that resulted in Jones wearing the title was part of a finely crafted plot. You may have fooled everyone else, but not me. I'm too damn smart for that.
