Alignment/Gimmick: Face -- Johnny Gillmen, born "John Gillmen" on March 24, 1982, is a man who dared to dream all his life. As he's a graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's in history, he has taken in a beachgoer's life--always cheerful, keeping his sense of pride even in the face of disaster. He's blind in his right eye--yet uses this disadvantage as a strength, often relying on his survival instincts to gain an advantage on the competition. Gillmen always walks to the ring carrying a multi-hued surfboard he calls "The Big Kahuna." He'll hide it underneath the ring during matches, but sometimes he'll pull it out and use it as an unconventional weapon.

Entrance: Cannons shooting jets of water blast high into the air as Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" begins to play. A lone blue spotlight appears on-stage as Johnny Gillmen steps in from behind the curtain, sporting aqua blue, olive green, and silver tights with matching boots and tassels and a T-shirt bearing the logo of his alma mater. Carrying his multi-colored surfboard with him, Johnny passes through, high-fiving fans along the way before sliding his longboard underneath the ring and hopping in to wait for his opponent.

STRENGTHS
1. Creativity - Johnny Gillmen is very creative inside the ring, often pulling maneuvers out of nowhere including surprise pinfall attempts or submissions.
2. Iron Will - Johnny will never concede defeat to anyone, opting to go all the way until he can't go anymore.
3. Perception - Gillmen's experiences with Japanese and Western cultures has given him the unique ability to perceive others and figure out their intentions--good or bad.
4. Gut Instinct - Gillmen tends to go with his gut feelings at all times. While they prove him right most of the time, sometimes his gut gets him into trouble (see "FALLIBILITY" in Weaknesses)

1. Blindness - As Johnny is blind in his right eye, he can be easily flanked by opponents from the right side.
2. Naivety - Sometimes Johnny's desire to "think big, dream big" often gets him into trouble, for he'll try and go for the big move early on instead of settling into the match.
3. Fallibility - Gillmen's gut instincts sometimes get him into trouble, as he tends to listen to anyone regardless of what a person's true intention might be.
4. Undersized - This is self-explanatory, but Gillmen's size makes him prey for larger opponents.

Trademark Moves:
1. "Kahuna Smash" -- While on the outside, Gillmen will pull out his surfboard from underneath the ring and slide it underneath the bottom rope. He goes underneath the ring again, this time pulling out an open bin containing barbed wire. The ex-Islander reenters the ring and proceeds to wrap the barbed wire around the surfboard before sticking the modified weapon in front of his intended victim, who's slumped in a corner. Finally, Gillmen leaps off the top turnbuckle in the adjacent corner and dropkicks the barbed wire-wrapped longboard, caving it into his victim's face. Nine times out of ten, this move will cause an immediate disqualification unless it's a match with no DQs.

Finishing Moves:
1. "Hang Ten" -- In this move, Gillmen places his victim in a cutthroat torture rack position before arcing backwards, dumping him/her spine first onto the deck.
2. "Wipeout" -- Headscissors takedown modified into a triangle choke--this is Gillmen's signature submission maneuver.
